Saying Good-Bye

Kim, Jim, Twana, Rich, Kathy & Ed

One of the hardest things about becoming full time road warriors is leaving behind people we’ve grown to love & cherish, such as Rich & Twana, Ed & Kathy, & Jim & Kim.

Our daughters grew up playing travel softball together. We’ve spent many years traveling the highways & byways, moving from hotel to motel, city after city, tournament to tournament with one another. Our lives were interwoven.

We’ve shared graduations, weddings, health concerns & vacations. Alas, the girls have grown, married & flourished, but the eight of us have remained loyal steadfast friends, getting together regularly.

Last night we hosted our last Eucher club. As the evening came to an end, it was with sadness we bade good-bye with hugs & kisses all around & promises to keep in touch. We love you all & we’ll see you again somewhere down the road.

Here’s looking at you kid……………………….
